Just a quick post to celebrate my first book’s publication today! A last, a bit later than anticipated, it’s arrived, in lots of boxes:
Copies can be ordered via ebay or from me (teacups@sent.com), and I hope to get some into bookshops and tearooms within the coming weeks.

I’m soaring about 30,000 ft over the U.S. of A. right now on route to vacation, and we passengers were able to get 15 mins. of free internet. So I’m using my time to blog, of course!

I was really thinking of UK customers when I mentioned ordering from me directly, because I looked into the options for people outwith the UK and it seems to incur a high charge however you do it. If you do it via some company like Western Union you have to pay a charge of at least $15 for a book that’s costing you $19, so it’s almost double the price, which is crazy. I will keep trying to find a good alternative to ebay, and if I come up with anything I’ll let you know.

Yay! A bit belated but still excited for you! Well done, it’s such a fantastic achievement. When ours arrived, I can remember seeing the number of boxes and thinking “…..where?”
Thank you very much Jo, that thought had crossed my mind, too. Thankfully, however, because each book is so small the storage isn’t too big a problem. Mind you, I’ve only got half of them at the moment and the rest are being delivered this week.

Hi Lorna, first of all CONGRATS!! What a wonderful news!! I would love to have a copy, but I also live outside the UK. I’m not familiar with Ebay….so sorry! So is there any other way to buy a copy?? You can be proud of yourself!!!
Thank you very much Letizia! Unfortunately ebay is the only way to get it from outside the UK at the moment, unless you have access to sterling cheques or traveller’s cheques, sorry about that. It is listed on Amazon but it also says ‘out of stock’ so I don’t know what happens if you try to order it through them. I haven’t actually lodged any copies at the Amazon warehouse (big complicated business!) but since they’ve listed it presumably they would contact me if they got an order, I don’t know how it works. I am trying to find alternatives to ebay.
